My name is Jackie Donaldson-Lopez, and currently I'm an anthropology of health graduate student at the University of Maryland. For the past two years, I've worked on developing, implementing, and evaluating health education programs in Prince George's County, Maryland.

As my final semester ends, I've picked back up where I left off before starting graduate school by continuing to research my extended family tree. My husband and I are planning to move to San Diego this summer, so I'm also in the midst of packing.

Last fall I married my husband, who is the love of my life. We had a gorgeous three-day wedding extravaganza in Miami over the Thanksgiving holiday, surrounded by our closest friends and family.

What a wonderful life!
